Our long table arrives at the historic Perkins House Museum, perched above the harbor in coastal Maine. Built in 1783, this saltwater farmstead tells the story of a working landscape where land and sea have always met. Weathered clapboards, old stone walls, and sweeping views of Penobscot Bay create a setting that feels both timeless and unmistakably Maine.
As the evening begins, we’ll wander the grounds and gardens before gathering at the table, set beneath open skies and cooled by ocean breezes. Here, the rhythms of the coast shape the meal—boats returning to harbor, tides shifting, and the late-summer light stretching long across the water.
The menu will celebrate the height of the Maine harvest: ingredients drawn from nearby farms, orchards, and the cold waters of the Gulf of Maine. Expect the bright, briny flavors of the coast alongside peak-season vegetables and herbs, all prepared over open flame in the Outstanding in the Field kitchen.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
