Set against the vibrant, working landscape of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, this Outstanding in the Field dinner celebrates the intersection of education, agriculture, and community. Nestled among the university’s fields and hands-on learning programs, the evening offers a unique opportunity to gather where the next generation of growers, makers, and culinary leaders are shaped.
We are honored to welcome guest chef Neal Fraser of Redbird, a celebrated Los Angeles chef and dedicated advocate for hospitality education, who also serves on The Collins College of Hospitality Management’s board. Known for his ingredient-driven, deeply seasonal cooking, Chef Fraser will craft a menu inspired by the surrounding landscape—highlighting the connection between farm, kitchen, and classroom.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
