This family-owned historic timber and cattle ranch rarely allows outside visitors, so we are honored to be invited to set the table in their pastures on the craggy bluffs over the Pacific Ocean. The spirit of the Wild West still reigns strong here, where surfers and cowboys feel equally at home and the cows graze on grasses dewy with salty sea air. This cinematic site also happens to have some extremely personable hosts. The Falk family (and their many dogs) will welcome us back to enjoy the incredible sunset views from the table.

Guest chef Byron and his Sacramento-based crew have joined us for several fêtes in the field. This is a team that savors a challenge. The great outdoors gives opportunity to be great, and the Last Supper Society is up for whatever may come.

STAY ON THE FARM

Fun in the field doesn’t have to end when the last dish is cleared from the table. Instead of driving off, stick around after dinner and settle in at the ranch. When it’s time to turn in, you’ll rest well in your own canvas tent, outfitted for two guests. Drift off to sleep under a blanket of stars and wake up to birdsong and a continental breakfast with a view of the Pacific Ocean – the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable off-the-grid experience.
