It’s hard not to envy the cattle here, who graze with world-class views every day. The Falk family stewards this land with care and reverence for long standing traditions. After a tour through the property’s historic hotel and timber barns, we will break bread at the long table set on craggy bluffs above crashing waves.

It’s perhaps impolite to say that organizing chefs is like herding cats. Adam is an angel. He just floats in on a cloud with the most beneficent of attitudes. A tour that crossed the country and then made it all the way back needs a man like Adam, emerging from a  golden light. Thanks Adam.

STAY ON THE FARM

Fun in the field doesn’t have to end when the last dish is cleared from the table. Instead of driving off, stick around after dinner and settle in at the ranch. When it’s time to turn in, you’ll rest well in your own canvas tent, outfitted for two guests. Drift off to sleep under a blanket of stars and wake up to birdsong and a continental breakfast with a view of the Pacific Ocean – the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable off-the-grid experience.
