North Bridger Ranch is extraordinarily scenic. Enormous bison rumble through prairie grasses, trailed by young calves, while towering peaks rise above the grasslands under wide-open Montana skies. The table will be set in the middle of it all.
Host ranchers Matt and Sarah Skoglund started North Bridger Bison in 2018. It has become a favorite table location for longtime Outstanding in the Field guests, and we are delighted to return for a fourth year.
Chef Zachary Ladwig hails from western Montana and the kitchen at The Ranch at Rock Creek, where he crafts daily-changing tasting menus shaped by local foraging, organic farming, and a technical mastery of progressive French cuisine.
Joining Zachary in the field kitchen is beloved Outstanding in the Field cuisiner Matt Millea. The two first cooked together at Ventana Big Sur a decade ago and now reunite in Montana for an evening at the long table.
