Meadowlark Farm impresses. This beautiful place feels made for an Outstanding in the Field gathering: an iconic barn, heritage trees, and productive fields filled with ripening grain. After a wonderful visit a few years ago, our schedules didn’t align for a return—until now. Our tour of the farm and community flour mill, led by host farmers Halee and John Wepking, will end at the table, set against the rolling ridgetops of the Driftless region.
Guest chef Mitchel Weber’s menu will highlight the farm’s organic grains alongside peak-season produce from nearby growers. Inspired by rustic Italian classics and Roman street food, Chef Mitchel prepares as much as possible from scratch. His cooking follows the rhythm of the seasons, and his vegetable-forward sensibility will have much to explore amid the abundance of the August harvest.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
