At Troubadour, the words "Focus, Intention, and Grace" are stenciled above the kitchen threshold—a credo that guides every plate served by Chefs Melissa Yanc and Sean McGaughey. Formerly head chef and pastry chef at SingleThread Farm, the duo went on to co-launch their acclaimed bakery and restaurant in Healdsburg. This season, they bring that same purposeful artistry from their celebrated kitchen to the forested banks of the Russian River.
Founded in 2010 by environmentalists and philanthropists Peter and Mimi Buckley, Front Porch Farm is a living experiment in biodynamic and regenerative agriculture. From heirloom flint corn and heritage pigs to sun-ripened fruit and vibrant blooms, the farm provides a rich palette for Sean and Melissa to translate their threshold credo into a multi-course masterpiece.
After a cocktail reception around the eponymous porch, guests will enjoy a leisurely tour of the farm before gathering at the long table, where focus on craft, intention toward community, and grace in service converge to create an an unforgettable afternoon.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
