We return to Ellison Estate on Grand Isle, set amid the inland sea of Lake Champlain. Rob and Kendra Knapp are gracious hosts on a truly beautiful property, where the view from the table stretches from vineyard to lake to the mountains beyond. On a tour of the vineyard, we’ll learn about their organic and biodynamic farming practices—including the important role played by the estate’s resident sheep.
At Ellison Estate, the peak summer harvest of Vermont ingredients will be paired with the vineyard’s natural, cold-climate wines for an unforgettable New England evening.
Guest chefs Cindi Kozak and Jordan Ware hail from the critically acclaimed Burlington restaurant Frankie’s. Both are alumni of Chef Eric Warnstadt’s Hen of the Wood. Chef Eric has joined more than a dozen Outstanding in the Field dinners over the years, beginning with a table at Pete’s Greens in 2008. Now it’s the new kids’ turn.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
