Blooming Glen Farm is a 40-acre certified-organic oasis managed by husband-and-wife team Tom Murtha and Tricia Borneman. Known for their commitment to land preservation and sustainable soil health, the farmers cultivate over 75 varieties of vibrant vegetables, fruits and flowers that create a colorful patchwork across the landscape. The traveling OITF culinary caravan has been coming here since 2011. We are deeply grateful to Tom and Tricia (and daughter Dakota, now off to college) for all these years of welcome and friendship.
Guest chef Ari Miller is a former journalist turned award-winning chef. After gaining national acclaim at his former restaurant Musi and a stint at Wolfgang Puck's CUT, Ari now leads Post Haste’s kitchen with a focus on high-quality, approachable Mid-Atlantic fare.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
