High-altitude vineyards create high-attitude wines – vibrant, concentrated, nervy and muscular. That’s what you’ll find here in the highlands west of the charming town of Ojai, ten miles from the Pacific and 2,800 feet above sea level. The vineyard team, mentored by legendary viticulturist Phil Coturri, practices biodynamic farming on this rugged mountain top while fostering the local raptor population and pollinating bee communities to promote biodiversity. We’re inviting Brendan Smith and the team from Bettina back into the field kitchen, this time with a new head chef, John Parker. The Michelin-recognized neighborhood joint is known for convivial Italian cuisine inspired by the abundance of coastal Southern California.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
