Pristine rows of olive trees and two of the most charming and gracious hosts we’ve ever met – those are the ingredients of a place worth returning to year after year. Especially in autumn, when the farm’s olives are harvested and pressed into some of the spiciest and most flavorful olive oil on this good green earth. Catherine and Thom have hosted our roving culinary circus since 2013, and each year we visit feels like coming home. We’re looking forward to another delightful tour around the ranch and learning about Kai-Zen agriculture techniques and traditional stone mills before sitting down for a feast in the dappled sunlight beneath the trees. The newly-appointed executive chef of San Diego hotspot, Kingfisher, will be joining us in the field kitchen. Chef David Sim was the first official employee of Kingfisher, which splashed onto a slate of Best New Restaurant lists in 2022 for its modern Vietnamse cuisine. Now that he has the reigns, he's ready to show off some new additions to the menu at the long table.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
