Austin has changed a lot over the years, but this charming urban farm and its 1800s-era farmhouse remain an oasis in the bustle of the city’s east end. Since our first stop in 2005, these farmers have become like family for our tour crew. Carol Ann, her daughter Tracy and grandson Jack bring a no-till approach to their fields, disturbing their soil ecosystem as little as possible. This leads to especially nutritious – and delicious – vegetables for our guest chef, Rick Lopez, to work with. At La Condesa, Chef Rick sources the best Texas ingredients for his modern Mexican cuisine. If you're in town after the event, be sure to stop by the restaurant to taste through their award-winning selection of tequila and mezcal, one of the largest in the city.

Purchase Policy

Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility.
