There are a lot of beautiful vineyards in Sonoma County, but Medlock Ames’s Bell Mountain Vineyard stands out even amongst the illustrious crowd in the Alexander Valley. Much of this 338-acre ranch is uncultivated, making it feel more like a nature preserve than a vineyard. In fact, its 44 vibrant acres of organic grapes and olive groves are bisected by a wildlife corridor to allow animals access to the neighboring Pepperwood Preserve. Our charming host and co-founder Ames Morison will tell us all about his approach to both farming and winemaking as we walk through the vineyards to our table. Tom Lents will be joining us in the field kitchen for the first time on the West Coast. He’s joined us several times in his home state of Michigan, where he earned countless accolades throughout his career. He recently moved to California wine country, where he’s cooking from a new, overflowing seasonal pantry that he can’t wait to share with us.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
