We return to the dramatic Mendocino coastline at Newport Ranch, a 2,200-acre private reserve where the rugged Pacific bluffs meet old-growth redwood forests.Our signature long table will stretch along a scenic clifftop, high above the crashing waves. As you dine, the coastal theater unfolds around you—keep an eye out for seals, dolphins, and the seasonal migration of whales.
Executive Chef Nick Wells and culinary consultant/forager Adam Lawrence return to lead the field kitchen. This talented duo is blessed with exceptional resources here. Together they will craft a menu with ingredients gathered from a wide ocean, a diverse culinary garden, and items foraged from both land and sea.
For those seeking to extend their stay, the sprawling ranch also features an Inn with bespoke accommodations. Guests can enjoy luxurious rooms with rustic charm, a fireside spa, and even a hot tub perched atop a water tower with commanding coastal views.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
