We return to Robert Lower’s tropical desert oasis, where the landscape is intentionally allowed to get a little wild. Towering rows of date palms provide a dramatic structure, softened by the vibrant chaos of pomegranates, Coachella grapefruit, edible greens, and aloe vera thriving beneath their canopy.
Robert nurtures the land with a permaculture approach that values biodiversity over control—an ethos that shows in every corner of his farm. His Barhi, Medjool, Dayri, Zahidi, and Deglet Noor date palms are consistently heavy with fruit when we arrive to set the table, and the citrus, bursting with sun-soaked flavor, never fails to inspire our guest chefs.
It’s a place where nature leads, flavor follows, and the table feels right at home under the palms.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
