Peads and Barnetts

Peads & Barnetts is named after an old farm outside of Oxford, England, where the founder’s grandparents began raising pigs in 1950’s, specifically the stream that runs through the property, called Pead, and the barnett, an old English turnip that was originally grown on the farm.

Today they practice low intervention regenerative farming and have become known for their flowers as well as their pigs. The farm provides for top restaurants and the best local food shops and selling direct to consumers at the Santa Monica, Hollywood and Mar Vista farmers markets.

We’ll set the table at the family’s flower farm on the mountainside of Valley Center in San Diego County, where drought resistant Australian and African native plants are organically grown.

Brian Redzikowski of the Kettner Exchange is among the most beloved of Outstanding in the Field guest chefs. Brian brings consistency and creativity to the most difficult of sites. After his time on our mountaintop event in Big Sur he'll enjoy something more down to earth and much closer to home.
