Picture the long table set in a wildflower meadow in the foreground of sweeping mountain views, with soft scents of summer lingering amongst woodlands and wildlife. This extraordinary site, managed by the Colorado State Land Board, is one of our most magnificent locations of the season. Our host ranchers graze cattle here using regenerative practices that conserve and improve the region’s iconic grasslands. Guest farmers from Starling Farm will provide produce from their six-acre market garden in Boulder County, and one of Colorado’s very best chefs will cook a feast with it all in the field kitchen.
OVERNIGHT EXPERIENCE
We say that each Outstanding in the Field dinner exists for a brief moment in time, telling the story of each place and its stewards. A limited number of guests can enjoy the rare opportunity to stay longer, spending the night at McArthur Gulch and experiencing their spectacular open air surroundings. Wind down by the campfire with a night cap and a sweet before bed. Retreat to your private, off-grid, safari-style tent designed for two, complete with custom furnishings and natural linens. Wake to a farm-fresh breakfast made with seasonal fruits and local produce, paired with cheeses, fresh butter and baked goods. Take a morning wildflower walk through the Ranch's vast meadows, or meet with our local guide to plan the next stop on your adventure.

Purchase Policy
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the Participant is unable to attend. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else. Please contact us at reservations@outstandinginthefield.com with the new guest’s information at least 24 hours prior to the event, or tell the guests using your reservation to give your name at arrival. Transferring funds for your tickets is your responsibility. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond Outstanding in the Field’s control, Outstanding in the Field will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date.
